Here’s how much Cameron Young won after his maiden PGA Tour win

The final stop of the PGA Tour regular season saw Cameron Young win his maiden title with a runaway win at the Wyndham Championship in North Carolina.
His maiden PGA Tour win came with a big cut of the event’s record $8,200,000 prize purse as he claimed $1,760,000 for his six-stroke victory over Mac Meissner in second place.
Young’s dominant performance saw him play 72 holes in 258 strokes as he equalled the record of 22 under par at Sedgefield Country Club.
Along with the record-breaking prize purse for the event, Young earned a valuable 500 FedEx Cup points on the final 2025 season stop before the playoffs.
The 28-year-old world number 44 has been a fierce competitor with seven career runner-up finishes before his long-awaited first Tour victory this weekend.
Not only does Young have that long-awaited PGA Tour champion label to his name, but he’s also achieved the honour of becoming the 1,000th unique winner of an event.
The win never really looked in doubt with opening rounds of 63 and 62 surging him into the lead at 15 under par before the weekend even began.
Composed finishing rounds of 65 and 68 meant he was seldom troubled on his way to a truly dominant first PGA Tour win of his career and the sizeable cheque that came with it.
