Ever wanted to eavesdrop on two of the greatest golfers in the world discussing drivers?

Want no more.

In this video Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy talk about driving the golf ball while Nelly Korda plays the part of all of us by listening in.

Tiger, of course, is, if not the greatest golfer of all time, then up there in the top two with Jack Nicklaus.

Rory, meanwhile, would have won far more majors if technology had not nullified his great strength from the tee.

Nelly is not bad from the tee either.

And the three of them have reached that certain level of brilliance where their surnames have become kind of redundant – we know who they are by their given names.

But what about the chit chat and the drivers?

“Can you hit that little – mwah – little kisser cut out there?” Tiger asks Rory.

Nelly laughs at the description.

“Yeah,” says Rory, “You know, it’s a little “controlly” as Nelly calls it?”

Tiger likes that: “Yeah. A little controlly. Just a little mwah out there.”

McIlroy explains what he does. “So I get a little closer to it. Stand a little taller.”

Tiger is intrigued. “Hmm, you do. That’s interesting, you stand taller to it?”

“Yeah,” says Rory. “Because I feel when I’m taller I can’t do that (he demonstrates falling back) as much. So I feel like I keep my right side high.”

Rory hits a safe fade down the middle.

“That’s interesting,” says Tiger. “So that’s a way for you to feel like you’re on top of the golf ball?”

“Yeah.”

“Got it.”

McIlroy uses a TaylorMade Qi10 Max driver which has the highest combined inertia (MOI) in TaylorMade history at 10,000 g/cm.

It provides an unprecedented level of forgiveness in a driver.

It’s available now, ready for Christmas, with a re-engineered 60X Carbon Twist Face that is significantly lighter than traditional titanium faces and creates a more efficient energy transfer. The new supporting structure promotes faster ball speeds while also improving durability.

It has been strategically engineered to help players optimize distance and enhance forgiveness, wrapped in a clean, confident package.

Lower CG projection and higher MOI than Stealth 2 creates a driver aimed at golfers seeking the ultimate blend of distance and forgiveness.

Meanwhile, the new infinity carbon crown covers 97% of the total crown area, freeing up more mass for better weight distribution and forgiveness.
