Woods remains on the sidelines

Despite indicating that he would like to be back for the Honda Classic, Tiger Woods will not be playing in his home town tournament next week.

The former world number one pulled out of the Farmers Insurance Open in early February citing a back injury.

At the time woods said that: “I’d like to play The Honda Classic…it’s a tournament in my hometown and it’s important to me…but I won’t be there unless my game is tournament-ready.”
