Woods’ niece says he’ll be back

Cheyenne Woods believes her famous uncle will definitely bounce back from his current struggles.

Woods has looked a shadow of his former self in the two tournaments he has played so far in 2015, shooting a record 82 in the second round of the Phoenix Open and withdrawing with back pain after just 12 holes on the first day of the Farmers Insurance Open.

Many are wondering if Woods will be able to bounce back from these latest setbacks, but Cheyenne isn’t one of them.

“I know he’s working hard to get back,” she said in Australia on Tuesday as she prepared for the defence of her Australian Ladies Masters title.

“I know that’s what everyone wants to see so hopefully soon he’ll be back for good.

“Somebody like Tiger Woods doesn’t just disappear like that, so he’ll definitely be back.”
