Willet wins in Sun City

Danny Willet won the Nedbank Golf Challenge at the Gary Player Country Club in Sun City on Sunday.
A final round of six under 66 took him to 18 under for the tournament, enough for a win by four strokes over fellow Englishmen Ross Fisher and Luke Donald.
As overnight leader, Willet was in control of the title following early birdies on the second and third holes of his final round.
Another birdie at the par four fifth saw him move five shots clear at the top of the leader board over playing partner Donald, who almost drove his ball into the spectators on the same hole and would end up with a bogey.
Willet maintained his lead with some solid golf on the back nine, carding another three birdies and closing out with a par to earn his second European Tour win.
“This changes a lot. It’s an amazing way to start the new season…it gives you a massive boost,” revealed Willet on the Nedbank Golf Challenge website.
“You know, my caddie and I said we were going to play aggressive golf this week and we just stuck to that gameplan.”
Willet joins Nick Faldo and Lee Westwood as English winner of Africa’s Major.
“Those are some pretty good names to be next to,” he added.
“You see those names on the walk to the ninth green, and you realise how many great players have been here. It’s been an unbelievable week and words can’t describe it.”
