Golf, being the individual sport that it is, has always really been a contest between the player and the course and fans were reminded of that in 2018.

Courses on the United States PGA Tour are notoriously long and difficult to negotiate.

Sometimes, a little ingenuity can get a player out of a tough spot. However, more often than not, the things players do can be downright unnecessary.
