WATCH: Brooks Koepka makes sly dig at Bryson Dechambeau over ‘anthill’ comment

Brooks Koepka couldn’t resist a dig at Bryson DeChambeau after finding himself by the same tree that was the subject of an anthill ruling on Thursday in Memphis.

During the first round of the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational, DeChambeau attempted to get relief from a “dangerous situation” involving an “ant hole” or “ant area” near his ball, to quote the man himself.

Try as they might, officials weren’t able to spot the dangerous situation DeChambeau was describing and declined his request for relief.

The end result for DeChambeau was a double-bogey and some merciless ribbing on social media from fans who thought the bulked-up golfer was trying to pull a fast one.

During Friday’s second round in Memphis, Koepka couldn’t resist having a little fun at DeChambeau’s expense either after finding the rough with one of his drives.

Following a few practice swings, Koepka pointed to the ground with his club and said to his caddie Ricky Elliot “there’s an ant.”

Elliot took a look only for Koepka to say “naw, I’m just kidding.”
