Thomas leads by two in Hawaii

American golfer Justin Thomas is two shots ahead of Hideki Matsuyama of Japan going into the final round of the SBS Tournament of Champions in Hawaii.
The 23-year-old Thomas looks well placed to pick up a third PGA Tour win after firing a third round six-under-par 67 for an 18 under total.
Ryan Moore, who was joint leader with Thomas after two rounds, shot a 71 which sees him tied at 14 under with US countryman William McGirt and Jimmy Walker after three rounds.
Thomas looked solid in his round rattling off three successive birdies in the third, fourth and fifth holes, while dropping his only shot on the seventh then birdied the 12th adding an eagle two at the 14th and making another birdie on the 18th hole.
Matsuyama hit a 66 to move into second place after nailing eight birdies, three on the front nine and a further five on the back nine with his only dropped shot on the eighth hole.
Other players of interest are Dustin Johnson on 11 under while world number one Jason Day is one shot further back.
