The best images from the final round of the PGA Championship

Dustin Johnson threatened to steal the show, but in the end there was no stopping Brooks Koepka. Here’s how the final round of the PGA Championship played out in pictures.

Koepka started the day seven shots in front, as his power game tamed Bethpage in a way no other player could match.
It didn’t seem like anyone was capable of catching Koepka, but it didn’t stop the crowds from turning up.
To everyone’s surprise, however, Koepka started stumbling badly on the back nine.
Enter Dustin Johnson, who soon got the crowd behind him as closed the gap on Koepka to just one shot.
Koepka now had to dig deep to hold off Johnson, but he suddenly seemed all too human.
Koepka now led Johnson by just one shot with three holes to play.
Behind the two-horse race for the title, Jordan Spieth was finding some form. He would finish tied-third.
Adam Scott would also finish in the top 10, a solid showing for the Australian.
Unfortunately for Johnson, back-to-back bogeys at 16 and 17 ultimately let Koepka off the hook.
When Koepka sank the winning putt on 18, he could finally release all his pent up emotions.
There’s nothing quite like that winning feeling…
You can smile now, Brooks, it’s all over.
To the victor go the spoils…
That’s all from the PGA Championship until next year. Can Koepka make it three in a row?
