Henrik Stenson has moved up to fifth in the World Golf Rankings following his victory at the Open Championship.

The Swede saw off the challenge of Phil Mickelson to claim his first major title at Royal Troon on Sunday.

The 40-year-old's ground-breaking victory sees him leapfrog over Bubba Watson and into fifth place in the rankings.

Mickelson climbs from 19th to 13th on the back of his runner-up finish, while a share of fifth place sees Sergio Garcia move into the top 10.
