Piller leads going in to Sunday

Gerina Piller holds a one stroke lead of the Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic going into the final round.
Piller was at the top of the leaderboard on ten under when play was suspended during the third round at the Ocean Club Golf Course on Paradise Island in the Bahamas on Saturday.
The American, who is still looking for her first win on the LPGA Tour, started strong with birdies second, seventh and eighth. After she rolled in a par putt on the ninth, play was suspended due to darkness.
“I was a little nervous on the first tee, but I felt fine,” the 29-year-old told lpga.com.
“There’s just been a calm over me, and thank the good Lord that he’s watching over me. Just minimize the mistakes, and fairways and greens. I mean, the wind could switch at any second, it can gust, and that’s really hard to deal with. I think just staying steady with fairways and greens and two putting.”
Piller is one stroke ahead of a six-strong chasing pack on nine under that includes first round leader Brooke Pancake, ANA Inspiration winner Lexi Thompson and South Korea’s Sei Young Kim.
