T-Series 2025: brand new Titleist irons set to take PGA Tour by storm

The launch of new Titleist irons is always a key date on the equipment calendar and this week will see a big move towards getting our eyes on the new T-Series irons.
The new T100, T150, T250 and T350 models will debut on the PGA and DP World Tours as players will get the chance to dial in their set-ups and see what’s different from previous models. There will also be the chance to try the new T250•U and U•505 utility irons.
The T-Series began in 2019 with the T100, T100S, T200 and T300 before being re-released in 2021. The Titleist T400 irons were released in 2020 and again in 2022. In 2023, Titleist brought out the T100, T150, T200 and T350.
The T100 is aimed at the low handicap and tour-level players, the T150 is the ‘faster tour iron’, the T250 is the ‘players distance iron’ and the T350 is the ‘ultimate game-improvement iron’.
We’ll have to wait and see what the 2025 versions will bring us but the key features across the T-Series are the tungsten weighting to enhance stability and forged faces to help with increased ball speed, especially on lower-face strikes.
Titleist irons have topped the equipment lists for 20 of the past 21 seasons, with the T100s the most played model since 2019, and Titleist have also been the number one iron on the DP World Tour for the past 16 seasons.
“It’s years of research, player feedback, player testing,” said JJ Van Wezenbeeck, Titleist’s Senior Director of Club Promotions. “To bring the product out, see it tested on the golf course during a tournament week and prove itself – it’s super exciting to see all that finally come to fruition.”
Russell Henley, winner of the Arnold Palmer Invitational, ranks inside the top five for Greens in Regulation and Proximity this season and he currently plays a blended set of T200 (4) and T100 (5-9) irons.
“With 9-iron, what I want to do is hit one really hard and be able to put it way up in the air. And then I also want to take a lot of speed off and take spin off, but I still want it to land soft,” said Henley on what he likes to see in his irons.
“Then when I get into my long irons, I want to be able to get that ball up in the air, but I don’t want to get it up in the air with too much spin. Golf is getting to be more and more specific and the more technology, the more that we’re learning about the game, the more every shot needs to be approached a little bit differently and be attacked in a different way.”
There is no current release date for the 2025 T-Series irons but watch this space.
