Lee wins second title

Mirim Lee won the second LPGA title of her career and her second this year after finishing on 15-under at the Reignwood Classic on Sunday.
The South Korean rookie won her first title just two months earlier at the 2014 Meijer Classic.
“I really didn’t think I would get my second win this quickly,” Lee told the Associated Press. “I was a lot more nervous this time than first time around.”
Lee opened up with a 70 in the first round before carding a 68 in the second round and another 70 in the third round to trail joint leaders Stacy Lewis and Caroline Hedwall by two shots on 11-under overnight.
Lee went on to nail three birdies on the front nine and two birdies and a bogey on the back nine to card a three-under 69 on Sunday and win by two shots.
Hedwall finished second on 13-under after an even-par 73, while Lewis finished tied for sixth on 11-under after carding 75.
While Hedwall may not have been at her best, but Lee says she learned a lot from playing in the same group as the Swede on Sunday.
“Usually when I play my rounds I don’t watch the other players,” she said.
“Today I really observed how Stacy played, and she was such a phenomenal player. It shows why she is the No. 1 player in the world.”
Lee’s compatriots Haeji Kang and Inbee Park finished tied for third on 12-under after carding 69 and 70 respectively in the final round.
