Jutanugarn shares lead at Founders Cup

Ariya Jutanugarn shares the lead at the Bank of Hope Founders Cup with Stacy Lewis after two rounds of action at Wildfire Golf Club.
Jutanugarn backed up her opening round of 64 with a 67 to get her to 13-under-par for the week. Jutanugarn is yet to make a bogey this week. The hallmark of her player so far has been the precision of her tee-shots.
Speaking after Friday’s round, the Thailand native said she wasn’t in the slightest bit concerned about what was going on around her and simply wanted to keep enjoying herself.
“I'm not really worry like who going to be in the leader board. I just really want to focus on like what is under my control,” said Jutanugarn.
“So tomorrow just go have fun.”
Lewis has mirrored Jutanugarn’s scores in the first two rounds of play. She has only made one bogey all week but made a total of 12 gains and one eagle. Her birdie count is one better than Jutanugarn’s.
“I played really solid, today was another good day,” said Lewis.
“Didn't have the distance control with my wedges quite dialed in the way I would've liked, but still made a bunch of birdies and shot a good round.
“It's always hard to follow up a round like yesterday (64), so happy with the day again.”
The duo lead Jeong Eun Lee, Mi Jung Hur, Michelle Wie and Vicky Hurst by one stroke and has a six-lay-strong-group, including Inbee Park, Jessica Korda and In Gee Chun, within three shots.
