Jutanugarn just trying to have fun

In the aftermath of achieving back-to-back victories on the LPGA Tour, Ariya Jutanugarn insists all she wants to do on the course now is enjoy herself.
Jutanugarn held a one-shot lead heading into the final round of the Kingsmill Championship last weekend and she was able to card a four-under-par 67 to emerge victorious. That was her second successive taste of silverware as she won the Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic earlier this month.
Speaking ahead of this week’s inaugural LPGA Volvik Championship, Jutanugarn spoke of how pleasant her weekend at the Kingsmill Championship was having already secured a LPGA title.
"I didn't feel pressure anymore," said Jutanugarn.
"I didn't feel like I really, really want to win my first tournament, and the only goal before final round is I really want to enjoy and happy with every single shot."
Jutanugarn went on to explain that while the course at Travis Pointe Country Club is one that fits her eye, her lack of confidence in her driver will make completing a hat-trick of victories on tour very tough.
"To me this course great, great shape, great golf course. It’s really challenge for me because I can't hit my driver, so I had to take my driver out and I just have to keep like game plan," she added.
"So put my ball in the fairway and hit second shot even, I'm going to have second shot longer than normal so that’s my challenge."
As for her aspirations for the rest of the year, apart from just trying to have fun, Jutanugarn confessed to having her sights set on winning at least one major.
"I have more confidence so right now to be honest, I won LPGA already so I looking forward to win some major," admitted Jutanugarm.
"Even one major in my life, that be great. So every major I have to prepare a lot and work harder and harder."
The Thai star’s game seems to be peaking at the right time with the season’s second major, the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, a mere two weeks away.
