Ben Crane has been forced to withdraw from the USPGA Championship due to a back injury.
The 36-year-old suffered the injury at last week’s Bridgestone International and has not recovered sufficiently to tee off on Thursday.
Chris Stroud is the man who will replace Crane in the field.
The world number 56’s withdrawal has ended hopes that the top 103 golfers in the ranking would make up the field at Kiawah Island.
