Bryson DeChambeau shares touching letter from young fan

Bryson DeChambeau took to social media recently to share a heartwarming letter he’d received from a young fan he met in Hawaii.

DeChambeau started his 2019 campaign at the Sentry Tournament of Champions a couple of weeks ago, notching up a solid seventh-place finish.

He also made a quite an impression on a young fan named Nathan.

DeChambeau met the youngster during a practice round at the start of the week, and gifted him tickets to watch the tournament on Thursday and Friday.

The five-time PGA Tour winner offered Nathan some helpful advice with his game, and the young fan decided to thank him by writing him a letter.

“At @Sentry_TOC, I met Nathan who followed my rounds for three days and wrote a very kind thank you letter for my offering him tickets. This is what makes what we do so great. Thank you for all the support Nathan and keep playing! Hope to see you on the @PGATOUR some day,” Dechambeau wrote as he shared the letter with his Twitter followers:

“You are my favorite player, so getting to watch you play three days was an honor,” Nathan wrote. “I learned so much from you and thought that it was necessary to thank you for the incredible experience. Thank you for answering all of my questions thoroughly during the practice round. I have already used the advice that you gave me, and I have already seen an improvement in my mental game on the golf course…. You will always be my favorite golfer!”

Well done to both DeChambeau and young Nathan for this exchange.
