This after being spotted in the gallery discreetly following the tall, big-hitting Johnson’s progress in Saturday’s third round of the of the Tournament of Champions at Kapaulua in Hawaii.
Gulbis, one of women golf’s most glamorous golfers, told Golf.com that she and Johnson were dating. but preferred not to expand on her brief confirmation.
“I’ll let Dustin handle our PR,” Gulbis explained with a laugh.
Johnson, however, declined to make any comment.
The 26-year-old young gun is one of America’s most exciting new stars and last year claimed two PGA Tour victories as well as getting within a whisker of winning two majors at the US Open and PGA Championship.
He was the top American on the world money list in 2010.
The 28-year-old Gulbis, in the meantime, battle to find any winning form after undergoing back surgery.
