Lee Westwood’s eighth place in Shanghai on Sunday has given him the lead on the Ryder Cup points table.

Lee Westwood has taken the lead from Padraig Harrington on the Ryder Cup points table following his eighth place finish in the WGC-HSBC Champions in Shanghai.
Rory McIlroy was the highest-placed European in fourth spot after a course record-equalling 63 on the final day and the 20-year-old is now fourth on the cup standings.
