TPC Four Seasons

The TPC Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas, home of the upcoming HP Byron Nelson Championship, is considered to be the recreational centre piece of Las Colinas in Irving, Texas.
This because along with its luxury hotel and excellent wining and dining facility there is a world class 18-hole championship golf course, and an outstanding indoor and outdoor tennis facility as well as a Sports Club offering comprehensive fitness and spa facilities, racquetball and international squash courts, half-court basketball facilities and a professionally managed child care centre.
In addition, there are four swimming pools, including a 25-yard (23-metre) indoor heated pool and a spectacular 5,500-square-foot (511-square-metre) outdoor pool.
An indoor and an outdoor jogging track and extensive landscaped lawns complete the picture.
GOLF
The 18-hole, par-70 course, measuring 7,166 yards from the championship tees, has recently received a major redesign by former PGA Tour winner DA Weibring and his partner, architect Steve Wolfard of Golf Resources Group.
The new layout was designed to be challenging for professional golfers as well as inviting to recreational players and this has proved to be the case.
First opened in 1983, the course was originally designed by Jay Morrish with player consultants Byron Nelson and Ben Crenshaw.
It features rolling hills, indigenous oak and mesquite trees, numerous sand bunkers, and small scenic lakes on a number of the holes, including the two finishing holes.
