Steve Williams, Woods’ long-time Kiwi bagman, firmly believes that his hitherto beleaguered boss is very close to taking the world by storm again.

According to a New Zealand report put out by Reuters, Williams believes that Woods is ready to shrug away the sex scandal that cost the 21st Century’s finest golfer his marriage, his Mr Clean image and ultimately his golf game, and to re-launch a fabulous career that has brought him 13 majors, more than 70 victories and untold riches.

Williams said he saw strong signs of a Woods revival at the Ryder Cup – and especially in the singles when the American super star looked unstoppable and was something like 9-under when his match ended with a 4&3 victory over Francisco Molinari

And what’s more, Williams insists, Woods is more motivated to get back to his best than he has been at any time during the past year.

The controversial caddy says that with three events still to play before the New Year, he feels that the Tiger could once again be the alpha male of golf heading into 2011.
