Stricker cracks top ten
Steve Stricker is up to eighth in the latest world rankings after his win at Colonial while Padraig Harrington has slipped to 10th.
American Steve Stricker has jumped from 13th to eighth in the world with his play-off victory at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial in Texas, while surprise European Open champion Christian Cevaer moves up from 449th to 129th.
Stricker’s win relegates Open and US PGA champion Padraig Harrington to 10th. He was third last August after his back-to-back major victories.
