A pull is a shot that is hit solidly enough with no fade or hook. but which flies to the left of the target and is usually caused by hanging back on your back foot.
An excellent drill to correct this problem is to place your feet together and then, after teeing the ball oppostite your front foot, taking an 8 iron and starting your swing back.
Next, step towards your target with your front foot and strike the ball.
This drill is designed to give you the feeling of making a correct weight transfer onto your left side and should put an end to those irritating pulled shots.
