Spend less time with your driver

When club golfers go to the range, they, more often than not, spend most of their time hitting their drivers. Wrong. They Shouldn’t.

Hitting driver is fun, yes, but when it comes to scoring, more than two thirds will come from shots played no more than 60 or 70 yards from the pin and half from putts on and around the green so it stands to reason that two thirds of your time should be spent working on your putting, chipping and wedge play.
At most you will hit your driver 14 times in a round, but will most likely use your putter something like 36 times.
