Seve Ballesteros has fully recovered after falling off a golf cart and banging his head in Pedrena, northern Spain, last week.
The three-time Open Championship winner revealed that he spent three days under observation following the accident last weekend but told reporters: “I’m recovered now.”
The 52-year-old Spanish golfing legend was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2008 and was forced to go through four life-saving brain operations.
He hopes to make an emotional return to St Andrews – the scene of his 1984 triumph – for The Open’s 150th anniversary celebration this summer.
