When you find yourself putting in a strong wind, it is important that you make two key adjustments to your setup to help minimize the affect of the wind.

To start with you should widen your stance (for more stability) so that your heels are at least as wide apart as the width of your shoulders.
And secondly, bend more from the waist than you usually do, still keeping your eyes directly over the ball.
