This technique is the same as a marksman using his dominant eye and hand to align his rifle.
Use this method, both at practice and every time you putt out in play, until it becomes second nature during your pre-putting routine and it should help you hole more putts and lower your scores.
Left handers should obviously reverse the process, grip the putter first with their left hands and line up on the target using their dominant left eyes.
