Former Ryder Cup star Oliver Wilson is set to stop wearing probably the strangest golf shoes ever seen.

Former Ryder Cup player Oliver Wilson is thinking of abandoning his experiment of wearing probably the strangest golf shoes ever seen.
Like fingers into a glove, each toe fits into its own section with the rubber slip-ons, but he managed only a three over par 75 on the opening day of the Dubai World Championship.
“I’ve had them for the last three weeks after my trainer turned up wearing a pair,” said the Mansfield player.
“I practise barefoot sometimes and swing it better, so I’d thought I’d give them a go.
“They look horrific and I’ve had lots of comments, but they’re good for you and I think the positives certainly outweigh the negatives.
“You walk better in them and there’s less strain on the legs, but I’m not sure I’ll be keeping them on.”
