O’Hara makes a move

Scotland’s Steven O’Hara joined Englishman Oliver Fisher at the top of the Czech Open leaderboard on Saturday.

Scotland’s Steven O’Hara joined Englishman Oliver Fisher at the top of the Czech Open leaderboard midway through Saturday’s third round.

O’Hara was putting together a fine round of golf with only two holes left to play and already six under par for the day, moving him to a nine under total alongside Fisher.

He birdied four of his opening seven holes, and then picked up two more after the turn at the 13th and 16th holes to put himself into contention.

Fisher, meanwhile, had three birdies, two bogeys and an unlikely eagle at the par-four 11th to be three under through 13 holes for his round.

India’s Gaganjeet Bhullar held the clubhouse lead after a superb 64 lifted him to eight under par, while joint-overnight leader Mikael Lundberg was staying steady, level par through 13 holes to also lie on eight under.

Spain’s Jose Manuel Lara, on the other hand, was not having a good day, dropping outside of the top 10 after five bogeys and two birdies left him three over for his round through 13 holes.
