Now Ram go square
Ram Golf have followed in the footsteps of square-head path-finders, Nike and Callaway, with the introduction of the Ram QUB3.
Ram Golf in Uxbridge have followed in the footsteps of the square-head driver path-finders, Nike and Callaway, with the introduction of the Ram QUB3.
The company claim that the club, with its distinctive green Aldila graphite shaft and standout green-soled square head, gives the same kind of accuracy and forgiveness as their better-known rivals – but at half the price.
Using their Rectangular Construction Principle (RCP), Ram say the QUB3 re-positions all the effective weight in the head into its four corners to increase stability at impact and reduce twisting for more accurate tee shots.
The makers says the club is the most forgiving driver they have ever produced and they are confident that it’s users will be a able to hand in lower scores because of the savings in costly hits that were previously slightly off line.
They also expect to produce a more penetrative ball flight.
The Ram QUB3 will be available in early May, in right-hand only in 9.5, 10.5 and 12-degree loft options with either stiff or regular Aldila NV shafts and will have a recommended retail price off £129.00
The women’s version, also in right hand clubs only at this stage, will come with a 12-degree loft.
