Nike Golf have announced that it is to broaden its SV Tour wedge range by introducing the SV Tour Black Satin wedge.
This due to the increasing popularity and success of the SV Tour wedge,
Featuring a black satin finish, the new SV Tour Black Satin wedge uses the same profile and bounce as the original SV Tour wedge that has a satin chrome finish.
The SV Tour Black Satin wedge has classic profiles and grinds that provide a clean look with maximum versatility.
The CNC milled face offers consistent golf ball response off the club face for more accurate golf shots which in turn help produce the control ancd confidence so necessary for a solid short game.
The club’s new U groove design also promotes maximum confidence via its increased spin.
Additionally the club’s feel-enhancing 8620 carbon steel and black satin finish give it a solid feel and feedback as well as resistance to glare.
The majority of Nike Golf’s Tour staff have benefited from SV Tour wedge technology as evidenced by the fact that Nike Golf tied for the lead for most wedge wins on the PGA Tour in 2006 with 16.
US PGA Tour staff members who have SV Tour wedges in their bags are World No 1 Tiger Woods, US Ryder Cup captain Paul Azinger, Chad Campbell, KJ Choi, Paul Casey, Trevor Immelman, Stewart Cink, Chris Couch, Lucas Glover, Anthony Kim, Justin Leonard, Craig Lile, Rory Sabbatini and Bo Van Pelt.
The new wedge, which should be available in the shops from the beginning of July and will sell for a MSRP of $119,99, comes in the following sizes:
