A good component of setting up to hit a good golf shot is your wrist position. Get this simple foundation right, and you will eliminate silly mistakes.

A good component of setting up to hit a good golf shot is your wrist position. You left wrist should be an extension of a straight line down from your shoulder to the handle and shaft of the club. If you tilt your wrists forward, you will shut the club down, and hit low running hooks. If you tilt your wrists back, you will hit weak pop-up shots off the toe. Grip the club lightly and make sure you are straight.
