MIZUNO LAUNCH NEW MP-57 IRONS

Mizuno have announced the introduction of new MP-57 Grain Flow Forged irons featuring Cut Muscle Technology in a full cavity design.
Mizuno have announced the introduction of the new MP-57 Grain Flow Forged irons featuring award-winning Cut Muscle Technology in a full cavity design.
The MP-57 is the first iron in Mizuno’s MP line that “utilizes a full cavity, resulting in a larger sweet area and making the MP-57 the most playable MP iron in the history of the company”.
Along with increased forgiveness, says Mizuno, the MP-57s with Cut Muscle Technology will deliver the unsurpassed feel and precision that MP players have come to expect.
“The result is an iron that delivers an extremely consistent and predictable ball flight and unmatched workability while also providing extra forgiveness that any player can benefit from,” Mizuna said in their announcement.
“The unrivaled feel, precision, and performance of Mizuno’s MP line of irons can now be experienced by a much larger range of golfers with the addition of the MP-57 irons,” said Dick Lyons, Vice President and General Manager of Mizuno’s USA Golf Division.
“Nothing was sacrificed when designing this iron. The MP-57 has all the qualities golfers have come to expect from a Mizuno MP iron, unbelievable feel, maximum workability, and precise distance control, all with the added forgiveness of a full cavity.”
Other features of the new MP-57 include a rolled leading edge, cambered mid-sole, and rolled trailing edge to deliver consistent striking ability from all types of lies, modified U-grooves that produce the ideal spin rate for maximum playability in all conditions, and a durable double nickel chrome plated finish for a player preferred look.
The MP-57 will be offered in right and left handed models with True Temper Dynamic Gold S300 and R300 steel shafts for a suggested retail price of $1,000.
It will also be available with Project X 5.5 shafts at a SRP of $1,100.
The exclusive MIZUNO/Golf Pride® M-21 58 Round grips will come standard.
Other shafts and grips as well as flat or upright lies are available through Mizuno’s Custom Club department.
Mizuno will begin shipping the new irons to retailers by the end of September
