Katsumasa Miyamoto has clinched the Japan Golf Tour Championship title for the second time.

Katsumasa Miyamoto clinched the Japan Golf Tour Championship title for the second time in his career despite struggling in the final round.
The 37-year-old shot a four over 75 at the Shishido Hills Country Club but had built up enough of a commanding lead over the previous three rounds to be able to finish three shots clear of Hiroyuku Fujita.
Miyamoto started the day seven shots clear of Hiroshi Iwata and though he bogeyed the first, he recovered with an impressive eagle on the par-five second.
He then picked up another shot on the sixth but struggled after the turn with two bogeys and two double bogeys seeing his lead cut to two strokes.
However, Miyamoto birdied the 18th to seal victory at the Japan Golf Tour’s second major of the year.
Fujita carded a bogey-free 68 to take second while Tetsuji Hiratsuka shot a 71 to finish third.
Ryo Ishikawa concluded a disappointing tournament with a 73 to tie for 15th.
