Mickleson’s not ready to quit

Phil Mickelson is not ready yet to concede his Masters crown heading into Sunday’s final round.
A third round 71 has taken Mickelson into the final round at Augusta National on three under par and although it could put him seven or eight shots behind the leader he is not quitting his goal of winning a fourth Green Jacket.
“On Sunday a lot can happen – I’m not going to count myself out,” said the defending champion.
“I need a hot round and I’ve shot low scores here before. I believe I can do it again and I’m going to give myself every opportunity tomorrow to do that.
“It’s been a little frustrating on the greens. I putted so well last week at Houston and expected to come out this week and kind of light it up.
“But I have struggled getting the right reads even though historically I’ve been able to read these greens very well.
“I felt like it was right there today, that there was an opportunity to do it, but I didn’t capitalise.”
