LET Fantasy Golf announced

Henderson Global Investors have announced the launch of the first official Ladies European Tour Fantasy Golf game.
Henderson Global Investors have announced the launch of the first official Ladies European Tour Fantasy Golf game.
Found at www.letfantasygolf.com, the free to enter online game has a top prize of €25,000 to be won each tournament week, and other great golfing prizes on offer at each event.
The mechanic is simple; entrants should select the six golfers at each LET tournament who they think will finish in the top six, in any order. If all top six finishers are correctly identified, the jackpot will be won. This is the first time that a fantasy style game has been developed around the LET, and the game play mechanic is unique to the competition.
Henderson has a long standing association with the LET, having sponsored the Official LET Money List and three annual Henderson Rookies on the Tour for the last six years. Development of the fantasy golf game further reinforces the asset manager’s bond with the Tour.
Richard Wilson, Marketing Director at Henderson Global Investors said: “Henderson’s partnership with the LET has gone from strength to strength since we became involved in 2006. We are excited about the launch of our official LET Fantasy Golf game, which we hope will engage golf fans across the globe with the Tour. The game is free to enter, simple to understand, and the sizeable tournament prize of €25,000 is an attractive proposition.”
As well as the LET Fantasy Golf game, letfantasygolf.com hosts tournament tips, instructional videos and player blogs from the 2011 Henderson Rookies.
Commenting on the launch of the new game Alexandra Armas, Executive Director of the Ladies European Tour said: “I have been impressed with Henderson’s innovation in coming to us with the proposal for this new game. The men’s European Tour fantasy golf game has been established for some time now, and having a game of our own is a great new development. We hope that it will prove a popular addition to the 2011 Ladies European Tour offering to fans.”
The first live scoring tournament will be the Evian Masters, 21 – 24 July 2011, and players of the new game are encouraged to enter a team by 15 July to be entered into the early registration draw to win a top of the range golf bag.
