Kerr, Hur lead suspended round

Cristie Kerr and MJ Hur were leading when bad weather ended the third round of the State Farm Classic.
American Cristie Kerr and Korean MJ Hur were at atop the leaderboard on Saturday when bad weather postponed the third round of the LPGA State Farm Classic in Springfield, Illinois.
The pair were on 13 under par when play was halted for the day.
Kerr was three under for the round after just four holes following an eagle at the par-five first and a birdie at the fourth, while Hur was one under through three, having birdied the second.
Sweden’s Anna Nordqvist and South Korea’s Amy Yang were a shot further back on 12 under.
Nordqvist picked up three birdies in the five holes she was able to play, while Yang was one under for the round through three.
Morgan Pressel, Gwladys Nocera and Alena Sharp were all on 11 under with holes still to play.
Mika Miyazato and Eun-Hee Ji recorded the best third-round scores so far of 65 to lie seven-under overall.
Catriona Matthew of Scotland was able to complete her round, a 68, her best round of the tournament so far, lifting her to four under.
England’s Karen Stupples dropped back to three under, having been four over for the round through nine.
The third round is scheduled to resume in the morning at 7am local time.
