Kaymer lands 16/1 payout

Our 16/1 tip Martin Kaymer landed the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at St Andrews on Sunday.

Martin Kaymer landed more bumper profits for Golf365 followers on Sunday when he clinched victory at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.

Our golf guru David John had picked out the Ryder Cup star as his headline selection at 16/1 for the Scottish event and Kaymer rewarded his faith with a three-stroke victory.

David wrote: “Kaymer might have something to prove now after his poor effort against Dustin Johnson in Monday’s (Ryder Cup) singles.

“He never looked for one moment like winning his match after struggling down the first hole and having been unbeaten up to that point, must have felt a fair amount of embarrassment to be on the wrong end of a 6&4 drubbing.

“He remains the man to catch in the Race To Dubai and a third straight win on the European Tour would strengthen his position further – so in terms of the bigger picture concerning the season overall, Kaymer has plenty to focus on this week.

“He missed this event 12 months ago through injury but was runner-up with Ross Fisher behind Robert Karlsson in 2008 so you can’t rule him out in terms of having no course form.”

A three-point stake meant David’s preview reaped 43 points of profit.

Kaymer’s triumph simply added to our impressive golf record in recent weeks.

Only last week David tipped Bill Haas to win the PGA Tour’s Viking Classic and he delivered at 28/1.

That win followed last month’s success for his colleague Ben Coley, who successfully nominated Miguel Angel Jimenez (18/1) to win the Omega European Masters.
