Kaymer and Poulter climb rankings

Martin Kaymer and Ian Poulter have both climbed into the world’s top 10 for the first time.

Martin Kaymer and Ian Poulter are both into the world’s top 10 for the first time after finishing first and second in the Abu Dhabi Championship on Sunday.
Kaymer climbs all the way from 14th to sixth and is now the second highest European in the rankings behind Lee Westwood, who stays fourth despite missing the halfway cut.
Poulter improves from 12th to 10th just ahead of Rory McIlroy, who drops one spot despite being third in his first start of the season.
The full ranking list will not be published until Tuesday with the US Tour’s Bob Hope Classic not finishing until Monday night.
