It’s your score that counts

Too many club golfers, largely men, take pride in the distances they can hit a ball with their irons.
But good course management requires that you use whatever club will best help you to score well.
So put aside your pride and use the club you feel most comfortable hitting – even if it happens to be a fairway wood.
Stop trying to compare your power with your playing partners and rather take pride in signing for a lower score for, when all is said and done, that really is what the game is all about
