Trevor Immelman has withdrawn from the USPGA Championship after failing to overcome a nagging wrist injury.

Trevor Immelman has withdrawn from the USPGA Championship starting on Thursday after failing to overcome a nagging wrist injury.
The 29-year-old, who won the US Masters in 2008, was also forced to miss this year’s US Open and the Open Championship with the problem.
The South African has missed three cuts in the five tournaments he has taken part in since the start of May, failing to make an impact in last week’s WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.
His place in the field at the Hazeltine National GC in Minnesota will be taken by veteran American Bob Estes.
