Yuta Ikeda claimed his fourth Japan Golf Tour title of the season on Sunday after a closing 66 earned him a two-stroke triumph at the Dunlop Phoenix.
The Japanese overnight leader posted six birdies against just one bogey in his five-under effort at Phoenix Country Club to finish two shots ahead of Korean Kim Kyung-tae on 15 under par.
Kim carded a brilliant 63 that featured an eagle, nine birdies, a bogey and a double bogey to end the tournament at 13-under, while Masaya Tomida took third as a 65 saw him climb to 11 under.
Sweden’s Robert Karlsson and Italy’s Edoardo Molinari, the defending champion, tied for fourth on 10 under par following rounds of 66 and 67 respectively.
