EYES OVER THE BALL WHEN YOU PUTT

Home

One of the most important fundamentals to good putting is setting up with your eyes directly over the ball.

There is a strong belief among teaching professionals that one of the most important fundamentals to good putting is setting up with your eyes directly over the ball.

When they are positioned inside or outside the ball and the line of the put your view is skewered and you are more than likely to put on the wrong line.

A good exercise to check out you eye position is for you to hold up a ball in front of your front eye (your left eye if your are a right-hander) and let it drop to the ground.

It should land in line with the ball you are about to putt.
