ECCO sticks with LET
Danish shoemaker ECCO has extended its sponsorship of the Ladies European Tour for a seventh year.
Danish shoemaker ECCO has announced that it will once more serve as an official sponsor of the Ladies European Tour (LET) for 2010, thus extending its partnership for a seventh successive year.
As part of the agreement, ECCO will be showcased at LET events, on the Tour’s website and in its promotional materials.
LET staff will continue wearing the brand’s distinctive golf shoes during all on-course activities, as well as ECCO dress shoes during all company functions.
“We’ve seen a great development of the Tour over the years as it has become more international, which is directly in line with our position as the global leader in luxury footwear,” said Jesper Thuen, Sponsorship & Event Manager of ECCO Golf.
“We look forward to providing the members of the LET with our outstanding comfort and distinguished styling.”
ECCO will offer complimentary footwear to every LET member in exemption categories 1-8, provided they agree to wear them exclusively during all competitions.
The company will also provide footwear contracts to the top-10 players from the LET Q-School, as well as three pairs of golf shoes to each of the top-30 qualifiers.
