ECCO grows street range

ECCO has added new colours and style to its funky, hybrid 2011 Women’s Golf Street Collection.
Danish brand ECCO – maker of the world’s most comfortable, technically-advanced footwear – has announced an expansion of its women’s Golf Street collection for 2011.
It will include a broad range of bright, funky new colours, luxurious stitch detailing and punched-leather accents.
Showcasing fashion-forward upper patterns, these hybrid sport-casual styles are perfectly suited for a day in the city, a round at the club or a casual afternoon with friends.
This versatility is provided by super-grip traction bars constructed from wear-resistant, highly-durable TPU that functions on almost any surface and has been shown to last five times longer than rubber.
“Along with our Fashion Life models, the women’s Golf Street has pushed boundaries by introducing new levels of convenience and style to the lives of women around the world,” says Michael Waack, Head of Global Golf at ECCO.
“What’s most amazing is the number of ladies who have purchased it not as golf shoes, but as comfortable, fashionable footwear for everyday use.”
Tested and trusted by Tour stars like ECCO staff player Jennifer Johnson, the women’s Golf Street features a sleek, single-density outsole that is colour-matched to the upper.
This top-to-bottom coordination – alongside subtle patterning, striking colours and silver rivet detailing – ensures a head-turning look.
Like all ECCO golf shoes, the women’s Golf Street is made through an advanced construction process that uses Direct Injected Polyurethane.
Unique to ECCO in the golf industry, it guarantees long-lasting comfort and hyper-accurate anatomical support. Additional performance elements include a triple-component insole with the ECCO Comfort Fiber System for a cool, dry climate within the shoe interior.
Golf Street is available in the following exciting colour options for 2011; Fire/Black, Imperial/Purple and Light/Silver with a suggested retail price of £90.
