Cobra Golf has unveiled three new high-performance sets of iron models which they say “features accuracy, feel and forgiveness.

Cobra Golf has unveiled three new high-performance sets of iron models which they say “features the accuracy, feel and forgiveness that avid players have come to expect from Cobra”.
To be shipped in September, the King Cobra S9, King Cobra FP and King Cobra Carbon CB iron sets are each designed for distinct player types seeking “specific technologies and key performance benefits”.
“With the debut of these three iron models, we now have irons that meets the needs of every player type,” said Jeff Harmet, the President of Cobra Golf.
“The multi-material S9 irons represent the most technologically advanced, highest performing game enhancement irons we’ve ever made.
“The FP irons are designed for players seeking the perfect balance of forgiveness and playability, while the Carbon CB irons offer tour-inspired design and feel for the advanced player.
“From ground-breaking technology to innovative design, these irons feature our most successful performance advancements to help golfers of all abilities.”
Listed below are some of the technical details and the benifits of the three new models:
KING COBRA S9 IRONS
S9, which stands for Sweet Nine, is Cobra’s most technologically advanced iron line to date.
Featuring multi-material construction to produce maximum accuracy, distance, forgiveness and feel across the 9 Accurate Points on the face, S9 irons are designed for players who want the ultimate in game enhancing performance.
Cobra’s new game-changing, multi-material S9 irons feature the following technologies:
Performance Benifits
– Wide Sole, Low Profile, Undercut Cavity Design – low and back Center of Gravity and high Moment of Inertia generate high launch and superior distance with maximum forgiveness.
– Polymer Topline – allows weight to be redistributed for an extremely low and back CG. The secondary benefit is enhanced feel.
– Urethane Sole Insert, Back Cavity Plate – Both the Urethane Sole insert and Back Cavity Plate promote softer feel.
– Head Material: 431 Stainless Steel, Polymer Topline, and Urethane Sole Insert

S9 irons be shipped to golf retailers in September with a MSRP of $720 for steel and $960 for graphite (4-GW).
Also available in seniors’ and women’s with a Graphite Design YS-5.1 shaft (5-SW).
KING COBRA FP IRONS
FP is Cobra’s Forgiveness and Playability iron line, an all-around performer that delivers the renowned Cobra feel.
The new FP irons feature the following technologies:

KING COBRA CARBON CB IRONS
