Hiroyuki Fujita has claimed a second Japan Tour title in a month by winning the Kansai Open by two shots.

Hiroyuki Fujita claimed a second Japan Tour title in a month by winning the Kansai Open by two shots after a closing three-under-par 68 at Takarazuka Golf Club in Hyogo.
Fujita had joined Masaya Tomida at the top of the leaderboard heading into the final round after blazing course-record 10-under-par 61 yesterday.
His final round did not reach the same heights although it included just one bogey and was enough to move him to 20 under par.
That edged Fujita ahead of Tetsuji Hiratsuka and Tomohiro Kondo, to follow up his Nagashima Shigeo Invitational Sega Sammy Cup win in July.
The Crowns champion Hiratsuka carded a bogey-free final round of 66, while Kondo had two bogeys in a three-under 68 to finish at 18 under par.
Mitsuhiro Tateyama claimed fourth at 16 under after a round of 64, with Kunihiro Kamii a further shot back in fifth after a 68.
Tomida, who won April’s Tsuruya Open, looked on course to complete a wire-to-wire victory after three impressive rounds, but he carded his only over-par round of the week which forced him to settle for sixth place as an error-strewn 74 left him six shots adrift.
