Golf365 Gallery: The beauty of Augusta, home of the Masters

Is there any course more pleasing to the eye than Augusta National, legendary home of the Masters? Probably not, as the following images highlight beautifully.
Augusta National’s Clubhouse has long been considered one of the most iconic in golf.

Augusta boasts several natural water features, the best known of which is Rae’s Creek, which impacts the three holes of Amen Corner.
The stunning scenery surrounding the 10th green.
Even among the beautiful holes on offer at Augusta, the famous par-3 12th stands out.
The 12th hole is also home to Hogan’s Bridge.
The 12th did not always look as good as it does now, however. Here it is back in 1952.
And here it is now.
Signs point the way under the pine trees.
It may be pretty as a picture, but you still don’t want to end up in the woods.
When you’re competing in the Masters, there’s precious little time to stop and smell the roses – or the azaleas, for that matter.
If you close your eyes, you can imagine you’re right there.
The stands surrounding the 15th green form a natural amphitheater.
The 17th tee provides another dramatic location.
And finally, the 18th green, where winners are crowned and lives are changed forever.
