Masters gallery: Dave Tindall’s best pics from holes 10-18 at Augusta

On Monday, we revealed that Golf365’s Dave Tindall has been lucky enough to enjoy several trips to The Masters at Augusta National Golf Club.

As excitement builds towards Thursday’s opening round of the 2018 tournament, Dave shared some cracking pictures from the opening nine holes at the famous Georgia venue.

Next he reveals the closing nine holes from 10-18, where nerves are shredded, resolves are tested – and champions are made.

10th – par 4: Look left and you’ll see those white cabins where Rory went in 2011. I was amazed how near they were to the tee! Tee-shot requires a huge slinging draw – not a snap-hook!

11th – par 4: It’s a real test of those calf muscles to walk up to the 11th tee. Worth the superb view, though, as players drive at a chute between the trees.

12th – par 3: Patrons gather at Amen Corner. To the left, the 11th green and away over the Hogan Bridge, the solitude of the 12th green and the 13th tee (bottom right).

13th – par 5: Even the green-stalked TV towers have a pleasing look to them! This one is situated on the sweep of the 13th fairway where another draw off the tee is required. The green, surrounded by bunkers and azaleas, is up ahead.

14th – par 4: The very undulating green at 14. Get the approach right and the ball will funnel towards the hole.

15th – par 5: The Masters is always shot close-up so one of the thrills of being there is getting these panoramic views. Here, I’m stood high up on a bank halfway along the par-3 16th. There’s the 15th green in the middle of the photo with water lurking behind it as well as in front.

16th – par 3: A surprising staircase to the left of the 16th. A definite “you don’t see that on the TV” moment.

17th – par 4: One of Sergio pacing the 17th green in a practice round. It’s set up on a mound.

18th – par 4: Sergio again, making the steep walk up the 18th fairway. You can see the bunker down the left side.
