The new Aberdeen Golf App

Aberdeen Asset Management has launched their first iPhone App – specially designed to help amateur golfers.

Aberdeen Asset Management, the international investment management company, has launched their very first iPhone App.

The App, the global asset managers’ first foray into the realms of iphone technology, is designed to make the amateur golfer’s game not only more interactive but also more enjoyable.

Its functionality is varied and includes a customisable scorecard which enables the user to tailor the scorecard to ‘their course’ by modifying each hole’s Par, Length and Stroke Index.

The Aberdeen App also stores the user’s ‘Round History’. It logs each round and score history to allow the user to view quick stats of player performance based on round and hole analysis.

The App also boasts a handicap tracker which helps identify trends against rounds to give players a real-time view of how they’re playing wherever they are playing in Central Europe.

Aberdeen is a wide supporter of golf and therefore this App is a perfect fit for the company which is headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland. Aberdeen is title sponsor of the Aberdeen Ladies Scottish Open, the Ladies European Tour event which took place in August at Archerfield Links in Scotland and they also support the Aberdeen Brunei Senior Masters which is hosted by the Empire Hotel and Country Club in Brunei.
